On June 30, 2026, a customer from Romania signed an agreement with DOING Holdings for a 5T/H Romania biomass charcoal making machine. The project will use beech wood as the raw material to produce high-quality biochar for carbon sequestration, while the wood vinegar generated during carbonization will be further refined into fertilizer to increase the overall value of the project.
Beech wood biochar and wood vinegar
Before placing the order, the customer compared several biomass carbonization equipment manufacturers. One of their main concerns was whether the equipment could support wood vinegar refining, as this was an essential part of their production plan. They also paid close attention to the supplier's manufacturing capabilities, technical experience, and overall professionalism.
To gain a better understanding of DOING's strength, the customer visited our factory. The spacious production workshop, experienced manufacturing team, and well-organized production process left a strong impression. During the visit, they also learned about the manufacturing standards behind every piece of DOING biomass charcoal production equipment. High-quality steel, submerged arc welding technology, and ultrasonic weld inspection are all used to ensure every machine meets strict quality requirements before delivery.

The Romania customer was also satisfied with the strict quality control and design details of DOING biomass charcoal making machine. Consequently, based on the client's raw materials, our engineers developed a tailored, customized solution.
1. High Biomass to Biochar Conversation Rate
Beech wood is an excellent and highly suitable feedstock for making biochar. Beech has high density and excellent prorosity, and produces very little ash, ensuring the resulting biochar has a high purity, adhering well to European Biochar Certificate (EBC) or International Biochar Initiative (IBI) guidelines. The 5 t/h carbonization equipment solution proposed by our engineers, featuring a slow-carbonization pyrolysis process and a dual-stove configuration, can further increase the customer's fixed carbon yield. It is well suited for this beech wood carbonization project in Romania.

2. 24/7 Hour High Processing Efficiency
The PLC automatic control system of continuous biochar production line allows operators to monitor and adjust operating parameters in real time, helping maintain stable production while reducing manual operation.
3. Environmental Biochar Production Project
Environmental performance was another factor in the customer's decision. The biochar production line is equipped with an exhaust gas treatment system to help emissions comply with international environmental standards. At the same time, the combustible gas generated during carbonization can be recycled and reused as fuel for the system, reducing both energy consumption and operating costs.

4. Biomass Carbonization By-Products Valorization
The ability to integrate a wood vinegar refining system was another advantage that set DOING apart. Instead of simply producing biochar, the customer can further process crude wood vinegar into fertilizer products, creating additional value from the entire carbonization process. This integrated solution was one of the key reasons why the customer chose DOING biomass charcoal production equipment over competing offers.
Biomass carbonization byproducts and applications
Although several suppliers participated in the project, the customer ultimately selected HENAN DOING Holdings because of our larger manufacturing facility, stronger engineering capabilities, reliable equipment quality, and complete biomass carbonization solution.
DOING offers both continuous and batch-type biomass charcoal making machines in a wide range of capacities. Whether customers are processing wood, agricultural residues, bamboo, coconut shells, or other biomass materials, we can provide customized solutions based on different raw materials and production requirements.
